Hi, I stand with the same problem.

Here is the transcription of the error in Delphi 5.0 when I run step
by step and I register events where the server is on LInux Red-Hat
8.0 and Firebird 1.02 - 914:

"Project ..exe has raised exception class EIBInterbaseError with
message 'Unable to complete network request to host "SVLinux". Failed
to established a secondary connection for event processing. It isn't
possible to establish a connection because the destination equipment
has rejected the connection."

I think is something about configuration of Red-Hat Linux 8.0 and new
XINETD service.
