I've got the same problem, independent is it Win2K or Linux serwer - during
registering Events servers hangs.

When I try to register events, I've got the exception: "Cannot establish a
second connection(...)". Maybe this information helps you ?

I still has the problem unresolved, any "developer" didn't answer my asks.
