Hi,
the IB/FB-Event on Linux issue was complained many times, also
in German newsgroups. For test purposes I've installed a
SuSe 7.1 distro with Firebird SS v1.0 Final, but without any
special Linux tweaks/settings/configurations (except the
ones in the Firebird v1.0 Release Notes). Events work for
me (I'm using IBO) on Linux, but for others (they are also
using IBO) they don't, so I guess it's more a Linux
configuration issue, then a Firebird/IBO thingy.
I would highly appreciate a solution for that (even if it is
only a "simple" Linux setting), because it was request many
times.
