Hi All
We are running SuSE Linux 7.3. with LI-V6.2.796 Firebird 1.0. and a Delphi
6 client using IBX 6 components.
We get this error in the /opt/interbase/interbase.log file -
bedssql1 (Server) Fri Jan 3 12:26:11 2003
Super Server/main: Bad client socket, send() resulted in SIGPIPE,
caught by server
client exited improperly or crashed ????
Which is repeated a few thousand times, and finally followed by this error
-
bedssql1 (Server) Fri Jan 3 12:26:11 2003
INET/inet_error: send errno = 32
While error 1 is happening the performance of the system is very poor, as
the log file is filling up very rapidly, it can grow as quickly as 5MB a
second.
It tends to happen once or twice a day.
Could anyone please, point me in the right direction or at least identify
the error.
Thanks in advance
Andrew Monteith
