Just read the Server installation for Linux.

On the client side, install just the Firebird client (you have this option
on Windows install).

That's the way client/server works. No need for more documentation.

Just take care of the connection string that you will use to connect to the
server. Read the documentation of the components that you use to connect to
FB from Delphi.
