Dear All,
Im using Firebird(Interbase) FirebirdCS-0.9-4p1.i386.rpm
how do I backup multiple database? ...
Can I do this? :
/opt/interbase/bin/gbak file1gdb file2gdb file3gdb file5gdb file6gdb
backup.bak
And i was to able to backup some one data here... but when i compare it from
the backup before I restore, there is a significant
discrepancy on the file size.
but I tried to backup it again... it does have the same file size comparing
it to the initial backup that i did.
-rwxr--r-- 1 nobody nogroup 896564736 Sep 25 16:26 020925.bak* <---
main Data backup.
RESTORED Data from the Main Data from w/c i did get the backup <<-------
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1073729536 Sep 26 13:01 file1.gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 827625472 Sep 26 10:43 file2-b.gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8192 Sep 26 09:07 file3-c.gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8192 Sep 26 09:07 file4-d.gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8192 Sep 26 09:07 file5-e.gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 874522112 Sep 25 18:22 initial.bak <---
Initial Backup
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 874522112 Sep 25 18:12 second.bak <----
Second Backup
Or maybe it's because Linux do have a different data structuring, by the way
i got the main data backup from a Windows NT Operating System.
and im running it now at Mandrake 8.2
I hope anyone could help me.
Thanks!
God Bless to ALL!
Best Regards,
Robert
