Under Borland C++ Builder 5, there seems to be some confusion (at least to
me) whether the api .lib should be linked as double word or quad word. The
"old" Interbase docs state that the lib should be linked with the linker set
as double word. We've just noticed that when we switched to BCB 5 (from BCB
3) and switched to Firebird that we're linking our wrapper around the api
(and all the applications) as quad word. They seem to work.
Anyone have any thoughts here ??
