I also use Linux on both client and server. Although my clients (remote
not local) are mostly Windows based.

IBAccess is great I use it allot. I also use IBConsole and Zeos DB
Explorer under WINE. For the most part they work fine, but not perfectly
like in windows.
However I have used InterBase Workbench, and is still one of my favorite
tools. One day I may download a trial again and see if it works under
WINE. Last time I used InterBase Workbench was before it was available
for purchase, back in the beta days. Of course since then I am sure
there have been many changes.
Bottom line Linux and IB/Fb play very well together, with the only real
downfall being the limited GUI available for Linux. Worse case run IB/Fb
on a Linux server, and use a windows machine for development of db's on
the server.
