mhm, i thought if using the ip instead of the servername, i could be faster,
but if IB tries to find the name, in reverse lookup .. mhm
i will check this too ...

I had a problem with reverse lookup. The IP was not in the DNS, and it seems
that IB
was looking for the name. Whatever it was, but once the DNS was configured
correctly,
the connection problems were gone.
