I remember this, i for one am always happy when people post the final
analysis of the problem :-)

Too many times people post Q's, people respond, the person gets the answer
they want and no-one hears about the solution or aptness of the advice.

Just as an aside I trainee developer used to work for me and for the first
three months found a bug in Delphi every week, followed shortly by him
finding a coincidental bug in his code!
