Hello, I've a phenomena I don't understand with FB, each day when I begin to
work with a client program (delphi app or ibexpert) on a FB server running
under XP pro, the disk rotates a lot for approx 2 minutes like if the server
was doing sweep.
I 've turned off the automatic garbage, and run each night the following
schedule task :
"D:\Program Files\Firebird\bin\gfix.exe" -sweep "mydb.gdb" which exit wth
code 0, so I think it's fine.
So why is the disk rotating as soon as I log on the FB server ?
Thank's for any idea.
