I have read through a decent amount of docs on IB over the years, and I
have not seen so far that Firebird is any different in this regard.

Is there a way to control when you start IB or FB SS, mostly FB, the
amount of default threads that are started?

If there is a way, I apologize for not having seen how to do it myself.

If there is not a way to do this, is that something that will be or
could be added to the next release of FB?
