I do not think so. Standard ASCII is 7 bit code and has only 26 lowercase
and 26 uppercase plain letters. Period.
Years ago in some countires with small amount of national characters they used modified
ASCII character sets (where national characters were used instead of less frequently
used characters, like '[', '{' etc.). (I had it on Norwegian version of Osborne PC. Anybody remembers this
machine? :-)
