When you say "when opening the EMPLOYEE database..." - at what point are
you getting this error?

I've just browsed the Project table (including the BLOB column PROJ_DESC)
using IB_SQL, local connection, on NT 4 SP 6, without problems. I don't
recognise your problem - but perhaps someone can enlighten re WinSE.

I *suppose* you are using the correct client version (gds32.dll) ? Could
you just check that one (it should be in the Windows directory on Win95, I
think...)
