can't provide a link, heard it perhaps somewhere while speaking with a
developer....might be I mixed it with the JDBC thing.....

ah, and I still use FB simply because there is IBObjects for it and not for
SAPDB :-) That simple.....ah, and also because it runs stable, fast and
reliable for me...and of course because of the Multi-Generational
Architecture you won't get anywhere except a simpler version of it in
Oracle....
