Yes, I did it from :
Firebird-1.0.0.796-Win32.exe

I uninstalle a previous install.

Yes, and I am sure from this point.
It's a home PC, I always log on under administrator.

I find a temporary workaround.
I start IBConsole.
With IBConsole I got the tray-icon of FireBird.
I can browse a table, etc.

Curiously, in :
Start, Programs, Administrator tools, Services.

Firebird Guardian Service
and
Firebird Server
don't look like sarted.
If I try to start them
I got the same message.
Error 5

But all things seen working well.
