Hi Micha,

In the SCO unix kernel, it was the SEMMSL parameter that needed to be
changed in line with the V4_LOCK_SEM_COUNT in isc_config. Not sure about
linux, though if you're lucky it may be the same. If memory serves, with
the Classic architecture you need to configure one semaphore per process, so
if you have 60 users, each attaching once, you need at least 60 semaphores.
If each user has 2 processes, configure at least 120...

Best regards,

Mark Fry

lot of questions ...
for interbase classic we are working with 96 for 80 users
so take 96 for semcount.
for linux I am not sure where to get this param of the kernel.
maybe you check "ipcs -a" and look for semaphores...
I am not so deep in linux , sorry.
