Good Morning!
I have a production server for the db and app. I
also have two other servers that are used for
reporting/development/testing.
Each morning before the users come in, I copy the
production db to the other servers. I do this by first
using 'net stop "Interbase Server"' on each server and
then using robocopy (NT resource kit) to copy the gdb
file to the other computers. Then I restart the
Services.
I have tried stopping the remote service from the
production server, but it doesn't work.
Does anyone know to do this?
NT4 Servers, FB 1.
Thanks...Dan'l
