For my understanding the Educational version is something for students or
academical staff (probably non-commercial?). The Developer version for
a single developer and Corporate for a company with more developers.

Probably someone else (Paul, Helen, ...) can jump in here.

For me, I'm an academical stuff, but bought a developer version, just to
give a small contribution to the FireBird development.

Got my copy here in Austria pretty fast, so this should be no problem.
