We've had the following before, this is from an e-mail that I sent a
while ago.;

Now the database (in house test) is in a state where we can not validate it
(internal GDS consistancy check). The Interbase.log file reflects the

IB5.6 running on W2000 (and NT4.0).
Client applications using the IB API directly. We obviously done (or am

Hello all!

I'm dual posting this to get as many answers as possible.
There have been reports of wrong page type errors with Firebird
under some circumstances. InterBase 5.6 on Windows has a
known problem that causes wrong page types. That problem is
fixed in Firebird so these errors have a different cause.

If you have ever seen a wrong page error in Firebird or
InterBase 6/6.5, would you send me the following information.

Firebird version / InterBase version

Classic? SuperServer?

Operating system and version

Single processor? 2? more?


What was the exact error, including the expected and
encountered page types?
