We are living on the edge and trying to move a database from IB v6.01
to Firebird v1.0 without doing anything, i.e. no backup/restore etc.
I think we're running into a reserved word problem with 'first' --
bizarre to me, but maybe some one can help.
This statement fails:
--\
SELECT * FROM ENTITY order by name, first
--/
with this error:
--\
Dynamic SQL Error
SQL error code = -104
Token unknown - line 1, char 43
first
Statement: SELECT * FROM ENTITY order by name, first
--/
This table is defined:
--\
CREATE TABLE ENTITY
(
ID INTEGER NOT NULL,
ENTITYTYPE SMALLINT NOT NULL,
NAME VARCHAR(48) NOT NULL,
ROLE_IDS VARCHAR(64),
FIRST VARCHAR(16),
BIRTH TIMESTAMP,
MRNUM VARCHAR(16),
:
:
:
PRIMARY KEY (ID)
);
