Hi,

Iam new with the firebird database.
The installation went fine. I also installed the XTG-ODBC driver without a problem.
But how can I connect.
I work with Windows98. I made a local server with a database called BK.

I tried to connect to firebird with the ODBC
The following connect-string makes an error.

"DRIVER={XTG systems Interbase6 ODBC driver};DB=BK:C:\firebird-database\bk.gdb;UID=myname;PWD=secret;"

where myname = my userid and secret = my password

The error is something like this : No connection could be established with these parameters.

Can someone help me ?
