Just trying to get an app running against a Firebird 1 DB.

It was running against IB 5.6 fine... Just changed it over to firebird
and it doesn't work when we use the GDS32.dll that came with firebird.

On NT and Win 2000 the firebird GDS32.dll works fine.

On Win 95 I have to use the old GDS32.dll (the one that came with IB6
Beta also works).

Any ideas on where to go. Some of our newer apps will be using Firebird
6 Dialect 3 features.

Is there anyplace to get an updated GDS32.dll that works with
everything??

Ps. I note that the older GDS32 uses MSVCRT40.dll and the newer one uses
MSVCRT.dll. Both are present on the 95 machine, tried a newer version of
the MSVCRT.dll but it broke MS Outlook.
