Intebase Guardian is just not very tidy displaying it's
errors. I would suspect that something in your application
has caused the server to crash.

Until you do a restore, the CB size will never go down.
Restore has freed up disk space that has been used at some
time, but is now 'empty'. The server will normally maintain
this extra space and use it again.

Unlikely - unless they made changes that are now causing
application problems.

My customers understand that they have to help when this
sort of problem appears. Just shouting means that it takes
longer to identify what is causing a problem ( and I chage
them more <g> )

??? Are you saying that the database is now corrupt and
can't be use

Need some actual details before we can go further!
