Hi,
I'm trying to restore one of our clients database files. We're in
the process of migrating from v4.2 on Win2000 to Firebird 1.0 on
Win2000.
I made a successful, transportable backup from the 4.2 database, now
when I attempt to restore the file I get the decompression length
error. GBAK didn't report any errors during the backup process, but
obviuosly something went wrong.
The backup was take at 3:00AM Saturday morning, so I sincerely doubt
anyone was accessing the file at the time, though I didn't shutdown
the file before the backup was made.
ANY suggestions are welcome!
Best Regards,
David Montgomery
