Hi Duilio
I use delphi x FB with dialect 1 with none of the problems you discribed.
First I format the field (display mask) to show only the date part, so in
the grid it will not be ugly.
Second I use Rx Library, I set the RxDBDateEdit to store only the date
part, so the fields are always stored as 01-01-2002 00:00:00, so when I do
compares it just works.
Try this, if you have any doubts e-mail me privately.
You can change the database dialect, I never did this, but as far i can
recall, you should use gifx to change it.
