firebird-devel is not a Yahoo Groups list. It on SourceForge.

There was some discussion in the past regarding this in IB-Architect, but
nothing seemed to have some out of this. The major part was that the
stored procedure would have to be recompiled when the domain changes, so it
would be feasible, but would need some planning before implementation. You
could probably resurface the discussion, by asking the question
again. Also, maybe it would be a good idea to submit the feature request
in the bug tracker on firebird.sourceforge.net or send it to Sean Leyne.
