Yes, this was the problem. The users network does a backup every night
at 10:00 pm.

I was aware that they did this every night during the week, but I wasn't
aware of it happening on Sundays.

What does everyone else do for backups? Do they include the GDB file
when backing up their data or do they exclude it and only do GBK
(Interbase Backup) files.

I find it scary that your database can get corrupted if you try to copy
it when it is in use.
