I notice that accessing IB/FB DB's over a slow connection is very slow
using the GDS protocoll campared to the interclient protocol. I heard
something about a static buffer size which is causing this problem? Are
there any plans to implement a new protocoll for FB, which would scale
(down and up) better than the current GDS protocoll?
