Hi,
I'm running IB 6.0 in a hospital, and I'm having problems to restore
the
database.
The application needs to run 24/7, so I make backups with connnected
users.
The backup happen normaly and the restore fails.
I do a gfix -v -full, gfix -mend, backup and restore the database.
Everything is ok, so in the next week. I can't restore the database
again.
I'm using linux running IB 6.0 classic and the server has a no-break.
Upgrade to IB 6.5 is not an option because we are a philanthropic
hospital,
so the option we have is FireBird.
Is the 0.9.4 most stable than IB 6.0 ?
I read that 0.9.4 fixes a problem with corruption due to large
numbers of
generators. We have 90 generators
in the database. Is that a problem with IB 6.0 ?
Thanks in advance
