Dear all,

I wonder whether my settings are incorrect:

- In Control Panel - Service, the account used to run IB service is Local System
- The NT permission for database path is for Administrators (Full Control)

However, IBConsole nor my applications cannot connect to the database

If I add the rights for the users to have full control access to the database path, then
it works smoothly..

- The setting I used is \\serverIPaddr\e:\database\material.gdb

- I tested the case using IB6 and FB RC1
- My applications use IBObjects 4.2Fn
- My server is NT Server 4.0 SP6a + SRP

Please kindly advise what to do.. TIA.
