Probably neither. We are hoping to get Fb1.0 released in the next few
days. We have been hoping to do that for several weeks now. If we take
this issue on board at this stage I can guarantee that it will delay
things further.

I would guess, without having discussed this with the Firebird admins,
that this issue could get fixed in the first point release of Fb1.0.
