Hello, I ran into a weird one.
Using IBConsole to backup and restore a .GDB file on my laptop
with Windows/XP. After restore I end up with an extra generator
called RDB$SECURITY , value set to 0.
However if I try to backup and restore the same .GDB file again,
now with the RDB$SECURITY generator present, the restore aborts
on a RDB$INDEX11 error. This index manages the generators.
If I first remove the possible presense of the RDB$SECURITY generator,
backup and restore work fine.
Never seen this happen on my NT desktop. Any ideas, I'm I caught
by M$ and should I rename the .GDB to .FDB ?
Best Regards
Hans
