I run Firebird on a WindowsME machine without any problems, even the fact that
ME is not supposed to like .gdb files hasn't manifested itself. I suggest though that
you put the connection info into the registry, and use a local TCP/IP connection,
then it's easier for the client if they want to use a network later on, to simply change
the registry setting.
