You need to add a startup script to /etc/rc.d/init.d/ this is where SYSV
based Linux/Unix stores its startup daemons. Then you need to link that file
to /etc/rc.d/rc3.d (if your machine comes up in command line mode) or
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d (if it comes up in GUI mode).
You can download a startup script from me www.aclsupport.com/ibserver copy
and paste this into a new file (in your /etc/rc.d/init.d directory)
then do a link by typing:
ln -s/etc/rc.d/init.d/ibserver /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S86ibserver
ln -s/etc/rc.d/init.d/ibserver /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/K40ibserver
if you are starting in Command Line Mode then just replace rc3.d with rc5.d
