Use UB5.5 gbak and backup the db. Do a trial and restore it with the same
gbak. Do not restore replacing the old one!!! See if the restored db works
as intended. Then take the backup and restore it in FB. Use gfix and enable
garbage collection to the default (20000).
problems, a new engine won't cure the corruption.
