I was a little hasty in my previous reply. What I intended to suggest
was that you should review existing examples of using the status_vector
in Delphi. InterBase Express will have those examples, as will other
middle ware such as FIBPlus and IBObjects.

If things still aren't clear please come back and post specific
questions using the sample code.

In most cases the status_vector is rather hidden and you shouldn't need
to access it directly in Delphi. If your middleware is any good it will
give you ways of getting the error messages and codes that are contained
in the status_vector.
