I have a database of about 1GB. Doing a backup (with gbak) creates a file
of just about the same size. The difference between the gdb and the gbk is
less than 30MB, whereas I often see that the gbk is just half the size of
the gdb.
The gbk file restores without problems.
Anyone else experienced this? Should I worry?
This happens with Fb-0.9.4test (I think), and it also happened with IB/5.6.
