As far as I know, not from inside Firebird - but you can install a firewall
and block port 3050 for TCP/IP

TCP/IP ? I want only local connection (for TCP/IP I'd like a proxy to
encrypt connection) but users can connect to Internet by PPP connection so
anybody can connect to firebird throught TCP/IP.
