Does anyone have experience installing Firebird or InterBase on a Corel Linux machine? I have downloaded the Firebird RC2 tar.gz from ibphoenix.com and untarred it and ran the install.sh file. Everything looks as if it installed correctly but I don't believe the server is running (couldn't connect via IBConsole from the client). How can I start IBServer manually and set it to start at reboot? Thanks in advance for any information.
