IBX is maturing as we speak/work/write/whatever. It's becoming more usuable
( *g* ) by the week/month and I think it's performance is getting better
too. But it's a whole different ball-game compared to IBO - IBO has much
more to offer and will support Firebird (v1 is not a problem, v2 will become
more difficult).

As for me, I'm supporting Firebird and will keep on doing this (boy, am I
glad I'm using IBO :))

What bothers me more is IBConsole... If IBX _really_ becomes incompatible,
there will be no GUI client except, I think, Jasons IB_SQL (very usable
though). Should IB_SQL be the tool of choice for (Win32) builds of Firebird?
