Hi!
I am going to use Firebird in my freeware product. I installed the
server from Firebird-1.0.0.679-RC2-Win32.exe and it seems to work
fine - I downloaded IBConsole from Borland v 1.0.0.339 and it connects
to host and I successfully created database.
As my app is in Java, I installed InterClient from
interclient_201_Win32.zip and now I have a problem, cause the service
InterServer doesn't want to start. When I try to run it manually, it
gives an error message error 1067: process has stopped unexpectedly (I
am translating the message from Polish - I have local version of the
system).
I don't know but the reason may be in lack of some dll's - I hadn't
install any other Interbase version and InterServer works fine on my
other computer system where I had installed IB 6, many odbc drivers
and a lot of other stuff.
Any ideas of what can be missing in configuration or files?
Thanks.
Maciek
