The string is
Roanoke_Server:C:\firebird\examples\employee.gdb

but I still get the error message.
I've used E for the drive letter. This is the letter that is mapped
even though I know I shouldn't use it.

However, I'm not getting far enough to even get a message like 'file
not found' if the path is incorrect.

Any other thoughts?
