How does one do that?


Make sure the hosts file have no extension (editing it with notepad tends
to add .txt making it hosts.txt which will not work).

HOSTS file has no ext.

Make sure that the Win95 workstations are upgraded to Winsock2.
When I installed Fb/1.0.821 on Win95 I think the install mentioned
something about Winsock2 (I may be mistaken on this). Anyways, it was ease

to find/download/install the upgrade from the MS web site.
(Wasn't this discussed just a few days ago on this NG?)

Did this already.

I'm persuing one other avenue brought to my attention by Milan Babuskov and
that is maybe my wireless installation guy has the firewall configured so I
can't access the server via TCP/IP. I'm awaiting a response from them.
