I am using delphi 6 cs and Firebird Firebird-1.5_alpha_1_win32. This stored procedure has been running without problem for over 1 year now. Firebird has been running OK for awhile, but now I am getting Update deadlocks. I believe I understand what these mean however I am getting them on inserts using this stored procedure. Can someone explain to me under what circumstances I can get deadlocks on an Insert, maybe this will help me find my problem? During the time this procedure is running there are no other accesses to the database and there is no threading used.
