Yes, It works now.
All that was required was this:
./isql - this works!!

Just one more question.
even though i was typing isql in the /bin folder
why was it running the isql in the /usr/in folder. For ex.
DOS first checks the current folder for the executables
and the other folders in the path next. Is it not the same
on Linux?
Can anybody recommend on how to get IBAccess working.
I also downloaded IB 6.01 with security patch from www.ibphoenix.com
Does this have any graphical admin tool?
