So, in practice, that would mean that as long we still have V6 files and V6
gbak's, and no new features are used, we still have backup
interchangeability

which means that
IB6 => FB 1.0 is possible
FB 1.0 => IB 6 also I assume ?

And
IB6 => FB 1.5 ?
FB 1.5 => IB 6 ?
