I just got a system with Win 2000 Pro installed on it. When I click
on either FBGUARD.EXE or FBSERVER.EXE I can hear my hard disk spinning
but nothing happens with Firebird. It does NOT start as an
application or as a service.
Does anyone have have any ideas why it is not starting on my Win2000
system? Could it be a permissions thingy or something? It worked
fine on a previous W2K system that I had and it works fine on a Win98
system.
