Subject RE: [ib-support] automatic server start with linux
Author Kotala Zdeněk
I don't know debian but
script for automatic start is in the rpm package of firebird.

All start script are usually stored in /etc/init.d/.
If you want start server automaticaly, make symbolic link
from c/rc.d3/ to script into /etc/init.d.

Inetd is internet wrapper which start FB on demand from
internet connection. It isn't good idea for SQL server.
