We have a customer that is running a Delphi 6 application we
developed with Firebird 1.0 and IBX. There are a number of stored
procedures and triggers used in the database. The server is Windows
2000 Server. There are a variety of clients, Windows 95/98/2000.
The system is running very well, but we have had 3 instances of the
following events noted in the interbase.log file. The Firebird
Server crashes as they get this message and will not restart via
services. If they restart their Windows 2000 Server, the system
works fine. Any help interpreting this message will be greatly
appreciated.
Here is the message:
SERVER (Server) Fri Nov 01 07:40:59 2002
Access violation.
The code attempted to access a virtual
address without privilege to do so.
This exception will cause the Firebird server
to terminate abnormally.
Thanks,
Steve
